I think I'm OK admitting that I'm a moocher. I mean, I was the youngest in my family and....a little spoiled growing up. And in college everyone had to learn how to mooch off of one another since none of us had any mulah. But it's been the past couple years I've really perfected the art of mooching. I'm in a place for a mere 6 months, and I'm trying to have a good time, so as I make friends I need to be realistic: what can these people offer ME? How can I USE them?
Well I feel I really hit the jackpot with my new friend in KY.
Meet Lauren. Lauren is my voice student and favorite friend in all of Kentucky. She's a hilarious diva who loves rainbow looms and mini muffins. This past weekend she and her parents invited me and Trent to go with them to their cabin at Nolin Lake. It was a slumber party with LAUREN! We braided each other's hair, played checkers (she won...serious smarty pants), and played on her parents boat!

I had an absolute BLAST with Lauren. Love this little lady. Trent and I were both a little rusty on the wakeboard, but we managed a jump or two.
